The situation is this:

I have a template page with a common property "Quick Links" now, on a certain child template, this value never changes, I don't want to have two master pages (one with it and one without).

Is there a way I can automatically set the value of the property -or- check if it's blank -if it is show other content?

The closest I've found is this: http://forum.umbraco.org/16748#post-16748 but it doesn't cover quite the same scenario.

TIA

Actually, if you insert HTML into textIfEmpty it breaks, has anyone got any idea how to work around this? I can't surround UMBRACO_GETITEM with the tags as it may contain other tags...

Basically I want <h2>Some Text</h2> to be displayed if the field is null.
