"<" character appears as "<" in visual studio Options

Hi folks,
I have a problem. When i have made a User control in VS, and try to input a "<img" tag,
umbraco renders it as "&lt", same with the ">" tag, it renders as "&gt".
What can i do to fix this problem ?
