Error on changing Data Type Options

When installing a new data type I can't change it's Rendercontrol or Datatype, instead I get the error message:

At /umbraco/developer/editDataType.aspx?id=1342 (Refered by: http://cms.thesitedoctor.co.uk/umbraco/developer/editDataType.aspx?id=1342): System.Web.HttpException: An error has occurred because a control with id 'ctl01' could not be located or a different control is assigned to the same ID after postback. If the ID is not assigned, explicitly set the ID property of controls that raise postback events to avoid this error. at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessPostData(NameValueCollection postData, Boolean fBeforeLoad) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint)

I've upgraded to 3.0.3 but it's stuck on rendering ed.ListFromContent (which isn't used anywhere!!)

Anyone seen this before? I couldn't see anything on the search
