Hi there, me again ;).

I'm having a little problem here. As I read I could use the metaweblog API to make/edit content on the website made in Umbraco.

I did everything as required: made a user and configured the content channel to start on the blog main page, contenttype blog posts etc. Then I added the two lines in my main template (in the head section).
Finally, I want to try Word 2007 to contribute to the blog of my Umbraco website.
I selected to make a new blog post and started a new account. I set up the url (http://localhost/umbraco/channels/rsd.aspx) and username/password too.

But Word says it 'can't register'.

Any hints on this one? Did I oversee something or so?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Christophe,

Shouldn't you use the url of your blog (http://localhost/umbraco/blog.aspx?) instead of the url http://localhost/umbraco/channels/rsd.aspx.

I think your blog post url should be:

http://localhost/umbraco/channels/word.aspx

There's an umbraco book on using Livewriter (word is a similar configuration) here:
http://umbraco.org/documentation/books/using-livewriter

Ok guys, I used the url from the last post here (with word.aspx at the end). When I register it, it says 'Account registration succesful'. But when I publish a post then, it says it cannot publish.
Any hints on this?
