Anyone know why this happens when I try to create a new report in stats?

ERROR CREATING CONTROL FOR NODETYPE: initstatistics

Oh, yessir! It's because you don't create new reports in umbracoStats. Just click one existing and use filters in the toolbar to modify them.

It's a bug in umbraco that every root node has a create context menu. For the next update of stats I'll do a nice text message instead of the exception.

Jeeeez, did I really start this :-)

Ok mate. The question is then.... Can I track downloads from the media section.

I'd like to know how many people are downloading my extensions....

Hello Darren!
If you haven't configured asp.net to handle all requests I guess the good ol' IIS logs are the only place to find what you're looking for...

Strange wasn't it? What I where after is that .net framework doesn't handle all files being served from your web server, therefore there is no way to get this info elsewhere but from the IIS logs. What you could do is to make a redirect page within umbraco that sends the user request to your zip files etc...

I guess I could just create a dummy Umbraco node for each file that I want to track and have a .net control that just rewrites the url.
Then I should get a record in Umbraco stats i guess.
