Hi!
I was thinking the other day (yeps, that was one of those days ; )...
-What if an editor with a little knowledge about things wants to make an input form for whatever reason. Then this editor must have knowledge about doctypes to be able to do so unless it isn't a generic pre-build form, but even then the process to create a form from only the macro dialog might be a bit hard to grasp for a newcomer...
How hard would it be to make AutoForm really "auto" by adding some logic that can do this:
- Create a doctype according to the form requirements. (some presets / option must be predefined)
- Update the current doctype to allow this doctype as children
- Generate the form based on the created doctype (this is what AFP does today)
If this was doable I think that would be a great addition to make editors life even easier ;)
