Sorry for the new post, but Package Creator 1.0 RC1 appears to be broken for all v3.0.x installations and I can't get the old version to install now. I have tried 3 different versioned sites with the same results and I wanted to document all the details.
First, is this supposed to work in v3.0.3? I'm assuming, "yes". Second, what if the previous version of the package creator was already installed?
WHAT I'VE DONE:
I have tried installing package_creator_1.0_rc_1.umb on sites with Umbraco v3.0.0 (no previous package creator install), v3.0.2 (previously had 0.4 running successfully) and now v3.0.3 (upgraded from 3.0.2 site with 0.4 running). All of them fail with the error:
Cannot Install Package creator, error occoured:
'//nodeType [@alias = 'initexporter'' has an invalid token.
QUESTIONS:
1) How do I get back to a running Package Creator?
2) What is the current recommended Package Creator version for v3.0.3?
3) How do I "uninstall" the package creator? I wanted to go back to Package_Creator_0.4.umb that used to work on my Umb v3.0.2 site, and now I get "SQL ERROR, Package creator is already installed".
I originally downloaded what appears to be the most current version of Package Creator from
http://www.objects.dk/2007/7/23/package-creator-rc1.aspx. If that is not the correct version, please point me elsewhere.
Any chance we could get the most current version in the Package repository so we don't have to guess? It's not easy to find the most current version on objects.dk.
Thanks,
James
