Hi all, is there a way of figuring out the IP address of someone submitting something via Autoform Plus? (fx. a post comment or contact form) I can't seem to find anything on it anywhere in the Umbraco log. Alternativly, if someone could perhabs develop a custom datatype that stores the submitters IP address without directly asking for it in the form, you would make me a very, very happy man. I've tried looking into creating one myself, but I just can't seem to wrap my head around how to do it. /SoerenS Brug for råd til hvordan du driver en god webshop? / Need advice on how to run an effective webshop?

I actually thought about this recently too. I was thinking of making it a default feature that if certain property aliases existed, it would automatically fill the field. remote_addr remote_host remote_user perhaps all the server variables? Let me know your thoughts... Case

Sounds cool Casey! I think that just a couple of the host headers are needed, but I guess adding support for them all isn't that much extra work. Can't think of anything else that could be usefull. When do you think this could be released? Not that I want to put pressure on you or anything, I just need to evaluate wether I should put time into a temporary fix of my problem or not. Hmmm... If I can find about an hour (maybe two) this weekend, I will see about getting these added. Other enhancements will be: - adding template support to the Form From Address, - some enhancements with code logic, - and possibly 3rd party table support.
