Om one of my websites I have a section where all employees are listed. The employees are organized in categories, something like this:
Employees
- Management
- - Todd Rundgren
- - Ian Andersson
- - Lars Ulrich
- - Joan Jett
- Communication
- - Joan Jett
- - Bonnie Raitt
- Administration
- - John Lee Hooker
- Investment Operations
- - Todd Rundgren
- - Name Name
- Lawyers
- - Name Name
- Africa
- - Name Name
- Asia
- - Name Name
- Latin America
- - Name Name
etc.
In this example you see that certain employees belong to more than one category. For example it's quite common that an employee belongs to management and at the same time has another role in the organisation. The fictive "Joan Jett" above is an example.
In my current solution I simply make duplicates of the people that are to be listed under more than one category, but this is an ugly solution since the administrators have to update the info in two places instead of one.
How would you solve this problem? Could I work with some sort of node placeholder?
Thanks in advance!
