I think a few have noticed this before and commented in the forum. I guess it just needs a forum admin to take a look.

There are a number of quirks in the forum software. Unfortunately, many changes require a modification to the source and recompiling. This obviously slows down the update process. Personally, I use the "Active Topics" link on the toolbar extensively...it shows what has changed since my last visit, which is what I'm most interested in. cheers, doug.

As I remember my digging into the stored procs for the rss full text it only shows you the active topics from the last 24 hours which you haven't watched since your last visit. Cheers, Thomas

I'm not thinking of the RSS feed, but the http://forum.umbraco.org/yaf_active.aspx link. There's a dropdown list that will let you select how much to show... from "since my last visit" (the default setting) to "the last hour" to "the last month" (currently 21 pages of posts). As for the RSS feed... we definitely need to get that updated. Your code looks like it is just what's needed! cheers, doug.
