I have a question about adding factboxes (variable amount) to each text page. Is there any thread or turtorial on this forum where it is explained?

Is it better to build the factboxes in the media folder and can they be-reused from here?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Warren, thank you for your response. By factboxes I mean like secondary content, usually viewed on websites at the right handside.

The thing is that I want to add and re-use secondary content on different pages. Meaning secondary content is not bound to only 1 page.

Please see below:
A good example

The list with "OTHER TOP STORIES" (top-right) can be used on different pages of BBC.

This is how I would like it to work, but how Angel

Thank you in advance.

Hello Cribbe, Umbraco is a very flexible CMS solution and will easily allow you to reuse content on other pages throughout your site.

As a starting point I would highly recommend you install my website wizard package from the package repository.

In v3 this can be achieved with an empty umbraco installation.

Goto the Developer Section
Right click Macros
Select Import Package
Click Open the repository (Recommended)
Select Website Packages
Select Creative Web Site Package
Then click download and install

This will give you an example site, which you can then look at all the templates, CSS, macros etc it installs to see how they all work together.
