I have been developing a site on my local machine. Then i have deployed the site to a staging server by coping all the files and database. Now i have made some changes on my development (local) machine and would like to place these changes out to the staging server but i do not want to change the content that is already on the staging server. just add some new templates, Document types, macros, and data types to the staging site. This way i can test these on my development machine using whatever data content i want to make sure it works, then move these to the staging site and let the content people do whatever they need to with them adding new content nodes of the new document types and templates. The question is how do i do this. I have a good idea of with folders i will need to transfer but what do i need to check from the database. Is there an easy way of completing this migration from development to staging?
Thanks
