Hi, are there any performance issues with having thousands of sibling content nodes? How many sibling nodes does some of your larger sites have?

Hi, I believe that www.dgu.org developed by Niels has somewhere near 65.000 nodes if I'm not mistaken. But since all content trieds to store itself in the cache you might want to keep an eye on your server ram to keep Umbraco's excellent speed... // ;) Kalle

The biggest problems I have seen with lots of nodes is in the umbraco UI content tree. As far as CMS performance it's a non-issue. But at least in 3.x, I can't get decent response times from the UI with anything much beyond a few hundred nodes in a single parent node. I believe the content tree problems are gone in version 4.
