If you haven't checked out Google's new browser Chrome, go and grab a copy. It's light years faster than FF/ie when working in the Umbraco Admin area due to them re-writing the Javascript VM. I just about fell off my chair at the speed increase! Have a read of their dev comic here http://books.google.com/books?id=8UsqHohwwVYC&printsec=frontcover#PPT1,M1 You can download the beta from http://www.google.com/chrome/index.html?hl=en&brand=CHMG&utm_source=en-hpp&utm_medium=hpp&utm_campaign=en

I have noticed that there are a few small bits that don't work, right click (context) menus, setting up properties on doc types etc. But for general editing of content etc its brilliant.

Yes it is fast - but I have noticed that IE8 doesnt work well with Chrome. But IE7 works just fine. :) I love this - and whats more you can open an app within it. If I wanted to go to my hotmail - it would tell me I would need to upgrade and offer me three choices, IE, FF, or Opera (I think) and then I click on IE and presto my hotmail opens up within it. *Its weird never seen a browser do such thing* :) But overall it rocks so far.

@Silverbug... if you right-click on the node name's link, rather than it's associated icon you'll get the popup menu in umbraco v3. I didn't have any problems making doctype properties, though, using umbraco v3.0.5. cheers, doug.

Google's Chrome already has security flaws exposed.
Same old emperor, same old clothes and yet another bloody browser I have to test on. Google can stick it.

There are some concerns about the Chrome raised by among others ReadWriteWeb: Does Google Have Rights to Everything You Send Through Chrome? Not sure if I'm too concerned myself, but the EULA looks a bit "interesting"... ;) "By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services."
...
"You agree that this license includes a right for Google to make such Content available to other companies, organizations or individuals with whom Google has relationships for the provision of syndicated services, and to use such Content in connection with the provision of those services."
