Hi all,

One of the features most CMS platforms have is the ability to change the order of an element on it's parent (eg: In a list of news items, one is able through the admin interface to move each item up and down on the hosting page).

I'm not able to find this in umbraco. Is it supported? It makes editing a page so much easier for the content manager.

Thanks,
Ricardo

Hi Ricardo,

If you wish to sort the nodes in the admin interface, just right-click on any node and choose 'Sort'. It's an easy drag'n'drop utility.

Be aware though, that if the order is changed programmatically, eg. through an xslt file, sorting the nodes won't make much difference.

Hope that helps.

Regards,
/Dirk
