Hi Ismail,

Have you set the correct document type and the like in the content channel? Or did I misunderstand the question?

Regards,
/Dirk

If I understand you correctly, you want to use WLW to send data to more than 3 properties in your document type, such as the title, short description, long description, bodyText, etc.?

If so... you can't. It's not a limitation of umbraco, it's a limitation of the MetaBlog API, which only allows 3 fields... a textfield, a richtext field, and a 'categories' field.

Or do I not understand your question?

cheers,
doug.

Hi,
I tried with a simple document type(BodyText in the description Section of the channel and nothing in the category section.)

But it behaves as before. I see the default page title and a details section in the WLW editor. If I publish a blog with this title and a detail, it has been published and visible in the umbraco admin panel without any data.

One thing I did not mention : In WLW when I add my umbraco account , It could not download the theme.
Is it the main problrm?
If so, how can I solved my problem.

Thanks
Ismail

Hi,

I've never been able to download the theme, so that is not the issue here.
So, you're able to publish, it's there in the admin but with no data?

Bit strange? How does the content channel config look like? Have a screenshot?

Regards,
/Dirk

Hi Drik,

My Content channel is set:
Name : NewChnl
Start Node in content: Blog
Search All children : checked
start node in media library: not chosen

Document Type: NewsBlog
DescriptionField: Blog Body(BlogBody)
Category Field: Body Text (BodyText)
Excerpt Field: Not Chosen

And Document Type(NewsBlog) like that:
Tab:BlogBody
Blog Body (BlogBody), Type: RichText Editor

These are my setup for channel and document type.
I want to access BlogBody in the WLW and after publishing it should be shown in the content.

How can I set up my channel and document type.

Thanks
Ismail
