Is it possible to set the blog up so that when blog comment is made an email is sent to notify the site owner that a blog comment has been created that needs to be approved and published?

Or you can use the build in notifications. How to do this: First setup a valid smtp server in the web.config ( appsetting umbracoSmtpServer) Make sure the umbraco user has it's email filled in ( user section ) In the content area right click the blog node and select notifications, and select the action of wich you want to be notificated ( new ).

Hi Tim
I've found the notifications option you suggested. Just wondering is there any way I can specify which umbraco user gets the emails or is it going to go to the user who created the Blog (which is me at the minute). If it's the latter I need to figure out a way to change that as I'm only on contract with this client for a few months and I need one of the team members to get the email (again the team member may change at some point in the future).
I selected 'Create' from the notifications choices, is that what you meant by 'new'?

Has anyone got any idea how to specify which user notifications should go too? We have a user who is responsible for the blog and we'd like all emails to go to just his email address.
