Although I've been playing around with Umbraco since July I missed out on the last UK meetup. Picking up from the end of the previous UK meetup thread jaygreasley proposed another meet and I think thats a great idea. I'm thinking a meetup in January would be a great way to kick start 2009. Is anyone interested? If there's enough interest I'm happy to organise.

I'd definetly be interested. I too missed the last meet up due to client commitments. I also missed Code Garden because of my daughters birthday and then Code Garden US because it really required a full week away from clients work.
Let me know where and when....

I'd be interested as well, though I'll probably need about 2 weeks notice of the date to be able to organise around current committments.

I would certainly be interested in another meetup - I'll be keeping an eye on this thread :-)

Yay! Deal me in.
January might be a bit soon though: by the time we've agreed a date and a place, that doesn't leave very long for people to get organised, especially with people going away for the holiday season.

Guys -- It sounds like we've got enough people to make this worth while. As it's now near the xmas break it's probably best if we aim for early to mid Feb.
Also I've managed to convince the sales manager at the new offices I'm moving into next month to give us the use of their conference centre for free for a day. Not sure how everyone feels about travelling out to the sticks.....the office is in Farnborough. There's seating for plenty of people, depending on how we want it laid out. They can go up to 200, but I reakoned there would be about 25-30.
Is this good with people, or does anyone else have an idea for an alternate location? If not then I'll find a date when the room is free, and then create a upcoming event the same as Warren did last time.
It would also be good to get ideas for the agenda.
