Hi,
I will within the next week start a project which will consists of 2 similar sites for the same company with different front end design.
What i would like to know is which version is better to use. Is v4 as mature as they say it is or i would be better using v3.0.6 ?

Hi Spyros, v4 is stable, and can be used for production environment. It is very close to release candidate status. A number of production sites already run on a v4. If those v4 features are really worthy for you (masterpages, live editing, .net event model,...), I'd go for a v4. Regards, /Dirk

Welcome, Spyros. I'd say go for version 4. It's really stable. One example of a brand new website running Umbraco 4 (not mine, heard on Twitter): Corazine. I've got a couple of v4 sites working as well (with MySQL) and it works for me. There are some problems, but the extra functionality justifies this choice. Plus upgrading to the final version will be really easy. (Most likely no database changes, only uploading some files.) Ruben

Hi i'm just wondering if you guys experience some javascript error as well in the umbraco back office for V4? I have experience a lot of javascript error particularly in working with the tree content. And contents need to be manually refreshed using "Reload nodes"
anyway when is the next version is released since i'm already using the latest one.
Also what folders would i need to update here?
Just these 4?
bin
config
umbraco
umbraco_client
Last time i tried the insert macro button in the template is also causing some javascript error.

I've been experiencing a lot of javascript errors as well - to me it seems as though Umbraco functions better in Firefox than in IE right now. (Using v4b3)
