Here's an interesting thing!

1) Go to the forum thread "Installing" (the option "Show topics: all" should be selected).
2) On the first listing page [1] the latest post is from May 31 2009.
3) Now browse to listing page [2] and you'll see that the top post is dated November 13, 2008.
4) Now browse to listing page [42] and you'll see that the top post is dated today (June 10 2009).
5) Just to see, go to listing page [41] and the posts are from 2006(!)

Here are some quick URL's if you want to check it out:

First listing page [1]:
http://forum.umbraco.org/yaf_topics2_Installing.aspx

Second listing page [2]:
http://forum.umbraco.org/yaf_topics2p2_Installing.aspx

Listing page [42]:
http://forum.umbraco.org/yaf_topics2p42_Installing.aspx

Listing page [41]:
http://forum.umbraco.org/yaf_topics2p41_Installing.aspx

I don't know anything about how the forum is designed, but there seems to be a problem with the sorting. The missing posts are not so much missing as they are misplaced/unsorted.

How do I report a bug like this? I mean it's not an Umbraco bug so posting it on Codeplex would be weird(?)

Hi Thomas,

Just one small advice... don't put too many effort in this and be patient...
(Enough said now, my lips are sealed!)

Cheers,

Hi Dirk!
Somehow this sounds promising. :-)
Still it's difficult to keep up the dialogue as it is now. :-(

Hello,

still there seems to be a problem in "umbraco Forum » Installing » Installing" the last shown post is from 13. june 09 but there are plenty post after this - including mine.

I guess I can wait for decades for getting an answer if my thread is not showing up! :-(

Is there some solution around the corner?

Greets, Arnim.

What the heck is PHP? ;-)

I believe they are working on it. The next message on twitter is about the bug.
