Hello all,

As some of you may have seen I have been working on a podcast for Umbraco as we may have a potential radio client coming on board.

The next step is file storage of these files, firstly these things are big in size and if its popular gonna eat at the bandwidth so hence these files need to be sotred on a remote server with loads of file space and unlimted bandwidth.

Would it be possible to modify the upload data type to sepcify the ftp host, username, password to allow it upload to the remote host??

Can anyone out there help me???

Did you get any advice, or make any progress on this? Good chance i'll have a similar requirement in the future when i start allowing visitors to upload video & audio.

Wishes he could work with Umbraco all the time.

No I did not get any help with this, as i am no real developer, more of a mashup king instead.

I was trying to get some help of Darren Fergusson as he uses FTP to upload a backup of umbraco and also released the progress bar upload.
