Do you have a non .net 2.0 version, i don't think its good practice to set the website to .net 2.0 when umbraco is running v.1.1, most of the things might appear to be working, but you won't know what has been depricated in the new version.

Uffe, I was using .net 2.0 with the view onto v3 and this version of MediaUpload was the first pitch to get feedback. I got some thoughts and I am willing to make them real. So If it is wanted I will take it onto the todolist for the webservice. The Frontend will be .net 2.0 anyway. For the next steps I am waiting till Anders made his webservices for v3. Then I can adopt them for v2.x to be compatible. Thomas

It doesn't matter that the client is .net 2.0, the critical part is the webservice....

No problem in doing that. I have several sites running .net 2.0 without any issues. Usercontrols made in 2.0 runs perfect! in umbraco. :-)
Signatures suck. No reason to have one.

What is happening with MediaUpload? If you have stopped development of it, then i would very much like to continue development with a lot of different features that i'm currently missing. Alternately i will have to start from scratch :( but anyhow if its possible then mail the sourcecode to uffe[at]cabana[dot]dk.
Cheers Uffe

Hi Uffe The development of this tool was paused, because of several reasons (waiting for the webservices in v3, private things, writing two articles about umbraco in a german dev magazine, ...). But I want to do a new version which can be much more flexible. So I would like to know which features you are missing. I also wanted to do a smal site with my projects. So I would also start this with this project. Thomas

well a lot of things: - support for all file types (only create thumbnail for images). - Include entire folder - Create content based upon uploaded files. - Make the webservice work in .net 1.1
