I really like this software and i'm thinking of donating but wanted to just clarify a few things.
A. What is the best practice for creating nodes (e.g. on the wizard example, there are 4 pages underneath the Front Page...Do you recommend creating multiple nodes below the front page. My question is because i am wondering what is the best method when managing several pages.
thanks Brian

Welcome to Umbraco! It is common to put the Home Page at its own level and place your other page nodes below it. That way you can more easily use XSLT to create a menu navigation that is based on the "level" of the page, with the home page being a level higher than everything else. You don't need to do it this way, though it does have some advantages. You can always move the page nodes within Umbraco if you change your mind later. cheers, doug.

Code: Hi Brian,
I personally do not place the home page above the other nodes for the purpose of including the page in navigation. It really comes down to a matter of preference.
One thing that is not as cut and dry is when you begin assigning domains to nodes in umbraco. When assigning domains to a node, umbraco is designed for the homepage node to be the parent node. A way around that is to use a transfer method (using RenderTemplate) to render your hompage for that node, or for you to redirect to it directly.
It is all a matter of preference, and each method has its benefits and drawbacks. However, the freedom of choice is what makes umbraco simply the best.
Good luck, and welcome to the community. Casey
