Hi, I passed the last 5 hours exploring the blog extension I dowloaded from http://umbraco.bruunebonen.com/media/440/umbracoblog.zip
I read the xslt, html and xml files installed by the wizard, searching for the categories but I still haven't found the place where it belongs.
I read older posts and search a lot on google but nothing to do.
When I create a new post, there is no category available in the tags tab. It doesn't open and I'm going mad to add and custom categories.
Is there someone that can help.
Thanks a lot.

Eric

Hi Eric!

Took me a while to work this one out also.

you need to create a new data type called categories.

go to developer section and create new data type - call it categories (or whatever - it may already be there) make it a check box list - then start adding some values (save after each one) - they should then appear on the tags tab.

funny it was only after this discovery that all the umbraco voodoo started to make sense (that and plenty of late nights)

Good luck
Michael
