Problems with user control Options

I've just made a few customizations on Dion Heskett's umbContact user control. It compiles without any errors. But when I press "browse properties" Umbraco throws the following exception:

System.Web.HttpException: En ekstern komponent har udløst en undtagelse. (an external component has thrown an exception) System.Web.HttpCompileException: En ekstern komponent har udløst en undtagelse. at System.Web.Compilation.BaseCompiler.

Why does it do that? I've compiled the DLL with VS2005 msbuild extras (msbee) and also tried Sharpdevelop both targetting the .NET framework 1.1
