Flash player in umbraco backend Options

Hello i'm trying to integrate a flash player in the Umbraco dashboard, however its not shown even though i have put its z-order to be topmost and if i rightclick on the area i get a flash player settings, however there is no picture.

Any ideas?

Check the path to the FLV file or SWF file from the dashboard. Thats the most common problem with the flash video or animation not to load.

Not sure if this is your case but iis on windows 2003 is not set up to handle flv files.
this is what you have to do

1) Select the site to configure in IIS, right click and select "Properties"
2) Under HTTP Headers Tab, select "File Types" under the MIME Map section and select "New Type"
3) Type ".flv" as the associated extension and "video/x-flv" as the content type.
4) Select "OK" and you're ready to fly!
