How to work with Dropdowns? Options

I have no Idea how it works. How Do i work with Dropdowns?
i just created my dropdown in the Document Type. How can i put some Things inside? How can i get the selection in the macro later?

On the developer tab you can set up a new Data Type and define the items in the dropdown.

If you hate umbraco, why not find another CMS?

i´m trying that. Thanks for the breadcrum! :D

BTW: I have no choice! :(

I wrote my signatur, cause i don´t wanna loose so much Time for searching, but i have. In this Point umbraco is exactly the same as Typo3. The Documentation is Bad.
