Using A Different WYSIWYG Editor Options

I have a license for the excellent Innovastudio WYSIWYG embedded HTML Editor. I'd like to replace the tinymce editor in umbraco with this instead.

How do I set about that? Any links to articles / books much appreciated. All I could find so far was an entry on making a script editor but it's not much use for this case.

I imagine the solution is to create a plugin but there seems to be no information on how to actually do that other than the script editor I mentioned.
