hi all,
having issues with tinymce and macros at the moment. basically, if i add a macro to a page in tinymce and save or publish, only the tabs at the top of the page reappear (i.e. no toolbar, no tinymce editor)... doesn't matter what browser i use.

has anyone encountered this, and is there a way to resolve it...? alternatively how can i debug the admin interface.

cheers,
chris

Is it me or umbraco? Umbraco Certified Professional Level 2.

bump

this seems like a pretty major issue that at least means umbraco is incompatible with anything bar IE hence windows.

can anybody confirm that macros in tinymce on firefox actually work ?

from what i can tell the issue is caused by tinymce, when you hit publish "macroAlias" becomes "macroalias". pretty fickle stuff.

there is another bug report @

Hi,
I noticed that there is a patch for the work item 11125 on Codeplex patches.

The issue with firefox is still affecting me commonly - and making me use IE for umbraco backend access :(

I'm not in a position to build with this patch but will happily test it - if someone could put in the necessary patch file and send me a build, then it would be sweet to get this issue knocked on the head for good and incorporated into 3.0.5, and make the backend that little bit more cross browser friendly....

Alternatively - i'm happy to provide any more debug information as required - but there seems to be a reasonable amount on codeplex already.

Thanks,
Chris
