Hi, since i work a lot with umbraco, and sometimes notice small bugs, i thought it would be usefull to keep a list with notes/ideas, i hope this is the right place to post it:


Major:

-No check on uniquenes of DocumentAlias gives very nasty errors.


Minor:

-When copying a item, the item is not vissibule until nodes are reloaded.
-Umbraco installation on a case sensitive Database results in errors.
-Small problem with richtext editor, i don't get a "outline" around the richtext areas, so for a unexperience user this can look weird.
-Clicking help results in a "wrong hostname error"


Request:
-Mandatory indication on complex datatypes results in error in "content" mode.
-Option to remove older versions of documents, or setting to keep a maximum of versions to store.
-Encryption of passwords in database
-Option to Delete a user instead of disabling it


Ideas:

-User/Group Rights on documenttype level.
-Multiple "attachpoint", the possibility to attach a document at multiple nodes
-Migrate document/media Types section to the developer Pane, i think this is really part of the development section (handy if you have some designer working together on a site)
-Possibility to "skin" the umbraco backend
