Christion mentioned this, it is not a zip-file, it has just an extra extention added to it so you can download it. Save the file and the rename it. Working on an events-calendar with recursion. Post requests on my blog!

We have an issue with local links on umbraco 2.1.3. When creating a local link, upon publishing sometimes the link will be created with the {locallink:33333} instead of being changed to the node name. SOMETIMES!! That is the problem. Within the same page, some links will be formed correctly and some will be misformed.
We're using IE7.0 with the patch applied.
Is anyone experiencing similar issues?

as far as I know the patch only fixes when you create links not if you edit them. Could this be the case here? Kindly Jesper webbureau jesper.com doing webdesign / development / umbraco implementations / 2007&2008 MVP

Jesper, the fix with the js-file only works on first-time saving. I think this one should work also on editing since it is in the dll.
Someone correct me if I am wrong though

Dear all,
I am also facing the similar problem with IE7. I am using a third party tool for HTML Text Area called wysiwyg editor.
I am trying to insert a URL into text area by using range.pasteHtml(URL).
Its converting {, }to %7b and %7d respectively. This encoding happened only in IE7.
In IE6 its working fine.
Please do some favor in this regard.
Thanks Satish

Hi Satish, if you're using some 3rd party WYSIWYG editor then I'm having trouble seeing how any from the Umbraco community can assist you. Unless offcourse there's anybody out there that has experience with that particualr editor. The bug (and hotfix) described above is related to the editor that Umbraco used in version 2.x. Since Umbraco is now at version 3.x, and thus using a new editor called TinyMCE, the problem has dissapeared. I just wanted to let you know that you probably shouldn't expect much help in this department. You could have a look at the hotfixes described in this thread, my guess is they will work for whatever editor you're using too. Dear Soeren
I read you people faced the similar problem. I expected that its due to IE7 not with any editor. thats why i posted here. And most of the people are aware of this tool. hence i am expecting a positive response.
