Simple question, expecting a complicated answer :-D

How do I go about exporting everything from a development Umbraco installation to a live environment?

How would I roll out changes to XSLTs, templates etc. in the future?

Yup, I second this question.. seems it got forgotten about so bumping it up.

Definitely somthing i'll need to know soon too... i assume there's a way to package up a whole site, and then install it on a new server (similar to how Niels has done with the getting started site) ??

Wishes he could work with Umbraco all the time.

It is likely that Niels and I will be working on some software to do this.

At the moment, you could use Umbraco backup to take an image of Umbraco and use the associated restore tools to move it to a new installation.

Darren.

Thanks Darren... any idea what sort of timeframe we're talking for the packaging feature?
