I am just saying this to make a minor point, but am not scolding anyone intentionally. This is speaking from prior experience.
When it comes to making posts online, good intentions can be easily misunderstood. A suggestion that you may think is a good idea may be hurtful to what someone else is providing. Be careful and think about the various interpretations of what you are saying when you make your post.
I simple misunderstanding can quickly turn into an argument. Just hesitate, and try don't post your remark if it is arguable. If you do offend, just apologize and let it slide.
In regards to this forum, it is a work in progress. I personally find it interesting that we are succeeding in making a robust product in umbraco itself with little more than the built in tools. I realize that there are products available that have all the features and such that you may want, but it isn't worth degrading the work of others to make that point.
So, if you disagree with someone, don't say it as if their way is wrong, say it as if there is also another way. Just maybe they didn't approach it the same way, thus didn't come to the same conclusion.
I hope I didn't offend anyone with this post, but the point is that we need to remain a community of friends helping friends. Offending potential users and developers only hinders us. You never know who the next SuperGeek may be, but we want them here.
