Hi Daniel, Great work :dribble: . I have a nice to have feature for the forum: As I understand right the email notifications works for the threads you have posted in. It would be great if you can register for email notifications for specific post you don't have posted in. Cheers, Thomas

Hi Daniel in the thread http://forum.umbraco.org/xslt/systemxmlxpathxpathexception-expression-must-evaluate-to-a-node-set I wanted to post a xslt snippet wit a param. I placed the xslt in the code-tags like described in the faq. But the is replaced with an emoticon. I tried this also with an Quote. No success. Thomas

...that brings back my question on how to avoid the Emoticons... @Daniel -> What if the icon buttons add [;)], [:!:] etc?? That way one could always choose whether or not to use the images... BTW, Nice job on the HTML mail, Now all we need is a nice AJAX:ish preview ;)

I know - It's a problem with the parser. It don't support nested quotes or similiar either now. :( I'm going to rewrite the entire parser. Daniel

Subject should be a mandatory field. There was 1 post without subject and it is damn hard to read it then.

Hi All,
I might suggest some additional Forum topics:
Errors Feature Requests(?) General (aka "Pre-sale" questions) Designing an umbraco site/Best Practices

Oh my God! Someone must have made really big withdrawals from their sleeping-account lately... :) That is so very beautiful that I almost gets tears in my eyes  Daniel, I've said it before; You're the best (but you really need to deposit some hours on that sleeping account of yours...soon) :D

Daniel,
You are so impressive. If I had HALF the programming ability you do I'd be so much more successful!
Can't wait for the "new & improved" umbraco forum!

Just a few things. -A link for logging in is missing, or I can't find it, it's only possible to login trying to insert a new post. -After saving the profile page a list of users thread it's shown. it would be useful to have a link for that, in order to give a post tracking chance.
P.S.: Great works guys.

When using the code block tags and having the line <xsl:param name="currentPage"/> it replaces it with the toungue smilie as below. <xsl<img src='/include/emotions/tongue.gif'/>aram name="currentPage"/> Code: <xsl:param name="currentPage"/>

Error searching for posts!I tried to review the old thread about Niels looking for testers for 2.1.5 That thread is titled umbraco2.1.5 ready - looking for a few brave (wo)menAnd should be found here according to the search results: http://forum.umbraco.org/installing/umbraco215-ready---looking-for-a-few-brave-womenStrange thing is that I get a no node found error when trying to acces that page! What's going on here? Has there been any changes to the URL replacement patterns since that post was first created? //  Kalle

Kalle, that error has been there since the start of the forum. Somehow it refuses pages where there is umbraco in the name. You can access the page by its id: http://forum.umbraco.org/3348I think someone needs to update the search function (and the RSS for that matter) to se ID's instead of niceURL(id) CHeers, PeterD Working on an events-calendar with recursion.
