Revert-to-old-contents problem is not solved in my installation.
Has anybody else experienced this with 2.1.7.?
Could it be, that my recap on installation instructions in the above post is incorrect?
Would there be a difference if, i installed v.2.1.7. from scratch and then migrated the content?

Also the permissions-on-xmlchanged.txt problem persists. (posted this one on to
http://forum.umbraco.org/installing/accessing-the-main-page-login-pop-up
since I don't know if its adressed in 2.1.7. or even related to the problem.

Thanks in advance

Guys,

I have done upgrade to 2.1.7 all seems to be running fine. My only question is where is the umbraco.xml file does that no longer exist and content caching is done in different way? I noticed something further up from Niels about xml and static cache?

regards

Ismail

Mostly its caused by permission rights of the asp.net and network user, i thought there is some wiki page with the right permission settings.

Indeed, it was a rights problem

Thanks,
