We finally open up for registration to the CodeGarden conference:
http://umbraco.org/codegarden

If you're coming, then go edit your forum profile (there's a link on the right side of the home page on the forum "Edit Profile") and choose "Yes" in the bottom where it says "Coming to CodeGarden 08". Then you'll get a cool little banner on all your forum posts and make it easier for people to get in touch with you about meeting up at the conference =)

Here's how I did it btw:
1) Edited the membertype and added a true/false property "Coming to CodeGarden '08"
2) After saving the member type I checked "user can edit" on the property which makes it automatically shows up on the default edit profile page (which needs styling btw)
3) Added a bit of XSLT in the showPosts.xslt:
Code:

<xsl:if test="string($member/data [@alias = 'codegarden08']) = '1'">
<xsl:attribute name="style">
background-image: url(/img/codegarden08.png); background-position: top right; background-repeat: no-repeat;
</xsl:attribute>
</xsl:if>

Took less than 5 minutes. Per did the stunning enterprise graphics ;-)

Tips like these are floating during CodeGarden which is the best reason to be there:
One Guy: Look at this website we just launched
Another: Wow - how did you make that cool event calendar
One Guy: Like this - btw Do you got a memory stick so you can get the source? ;-)

I think your showing off there!

Seriously.. 80 GB.. :dribble:

I can't say too much though, I carry around a 250GB passport drive with my life on it. (I do make backups of it regularly too)

I will be there!

I enjoy mixing with people from all over whom have done their own wonderful things in umbraco. It is a great way to learn new things, make friends, and much more.

See you there..

Hm, to be really honest: it isn't a memory stick, but it is a freecom external USB hard-drive :whistle:
Nevertheless, it can hold 80GB :cool:
