I am new to this forum and struggle with a couple of things that I hope someone can help me with.

We are "relaunching" our homepage in April and I'd like to make some changes to the appearance.

1) Increase the width of the page (as it appears for the end user). From what I can see in the Stylesheet wizard the current width is around 775 px. I would like to increase it to around 900 but do not know how to proceed. I assume it is in the wizard but I can't seem to find my way.

2) I'd like to add a slideshow to the front page. Just 5-10 pictures that will display around 5 seconds each, looping. I have heard about GIF animators but cannot find one that will generate good enough picture quality (tried one that did create a slideshow, but with very poor picture quality).

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

1) You can probably change this in the css. What stylesheet wizard are you talking about ?

2) You can do this with javascript : here is a jQuery plugin

Rookie,

In the umbraco backend, click on "Settings", then locate the folder called "Stylesheets" click on the various style sheets until you can find the CSS you are looking to change.

If you are still having trouble, don't forget to post a URL, if available.
