Hi All!

We - finally - got 3.0.5 ready for testing. Among performance fixes, load balancing fixes and firefox fixes we also added some extra love to the Rollback and import package dialogs as well as a "Copy document type" context option.

You can DOWNLOAD and view the full change log as well as UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS here:
https://www.codeplex.com/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ProjectName=umbraco&ReleaseId=9591

We're preparing an installer, but would like to get last minute feedback on this release, so please test it out and shoot in the comments.

Cheers,
Per & Niels...

Jeeeez, did I really start this :-)

This is a really sweet looking list of fixes and improvements, thank you!!

Can you also post a zip file of the source that was used to build it, for reference?

I'll be testing 3.0.5 soon.

cheers, and thanks again!

We'll post a zip with the source along with the installer when everything looks good. We just need to hear others than just Per and I scream success with upgrades and installs :-)

Guys,

I found one issue. I delete a node and as expected it appears in the recycle bin. I empty the recycle bin and the item re appears where i originally deleted it!

Also found an issue,

When using ie7, the contentpicker just shows a white box (no nodes). Also the content channel tab in the users sections doesn't display the nodes when you want to choose the start nodes.

This is on an upgraded site (from v3.0.4 ), I'll try this with a clean install.

Cheers,
Tim

Guys,

Per just came up with this fix to recycle bin issue:

Quote:

in umbraco/config/create/ui.xml
on line 57 theres missing a reference to the delete method
so add <delete assembly="umbraco" type="contentTasks" /> just under the <sort> node

Ismail

It was an error in the ui.xml file, so your page was never deleted. We're updating the zip file on codeplex :/

Issues above have been fixed and a new zip has been uploaded to codeplex (filename postfixed "update").

Make sure to unzip all the files and refresh the cache (as some of the issues were css related).

Thank you for all the testing and keep it coming. The sooner you test, the sooner we can release!

Yup, I've read them. That's the reason it's not finally released yet. We'll add an update when the fixes have been made. We're running courses this week, so it might not be until next week that we'll have the final release ready.

Hi I am looking to upgrade from 3.0.3 if there are any problems, is there a downgrade solution?

If I can downgrade I would love to hear the detailed steps I would need to take.

Thanks,
Warren
