I am evaluating webfusion at the moment.

Not a positive experience so far.

Asked support a question about plesk, and they basically told me that it was my problem and that they only supported the hardware/os....

Darren.

Luckily its a free trial. Are you experiencing the site restarting often due to shared memory and hardware resources etc?

Recently I moved a couple of Umbraco sites to www.ehosting.com. They are using Plesk and have absolute fantastic support.

I mailed them a (sql) database for restore on a sunday night, and less than an hour later it was online.

Reseller package recommended!!!

Hi all

Thanks a lot for your posts. I am thinking about 'discount asp.net'. As I heard a lot of positive feedback from the user. Anyway ehosting sounds impressive

I had a terrible experience with webfusion. It took me about 3 weeks to deal with their support team over a very minor issue. There was some issue related to the machine.config file and the email wasn't set up correctly. They took about 48 hours to get back to me on each occasion and when they did it was a completely dumb and unpro-active response. I couldn't get through on the phone so only was able to deal through emails which was infuriating waiting for a response when I knew it was a small issue. I finally bailed out when I insisted on speaking to a tech support MANAGER and he asked me what a machine.config file was. I was like 'WTF! Just give me my money back!'. They wouldn't give me my money back either. I cut my losses in the end. Terrible company! Terrible terrible support!

I've since been with DiscountAsp.net. Dare I do what Dekker does and add a link? Yeah, sod it, DiscountAsp.Net. They have been an absolute joy to deal with it. You get great control over most things and the tech support turn around is to die for. Being in NZ now (I'm a Brit originally, hence my experience with webfusion) I have a few issues with speed but that's copable for now. NZ hosting is so expensive in comparison to other countries so the minor degradation in speed is nothing compared to the savings for some sites.

I am beginning to feel the same way.

I tried to restart a VPS and it didn't come back up. So far it's been 18 hours waiting for them to try and bring it back online.
