I would like to ask your opinion on following thoughts:

1. Umbraco 3.1 seems have support for members provider.
2. YetAnotherForum 1.9.3 seems have support for ASP.NET providers too.
3. I know that both are in alpha stage.

Now what I thinking build a site with umbraco 3.1, add SQLMemberProvider to umbraco and YAF. I think so because only members count should grow in the future of site, so storing them in umbraco itself is not best for performance? Is this correct?

Questions would be:
1. Is this possible now? Anyone doing something similar?
2. Which controls better to use standard ASP.NET Login, Register etc... or umbracoMembersControl package? Why if umbracoMemebersControl?
3. Will umbraco API for member access to secured site work as before? I mean, will I be able check if member can see some page part in XSLT?
