Hi,

Let's start this topic to get this conversation resurected.

All seem to be interested in starting up a user group for umbraco developers in Belgium, ....

I know CG08 is on its way, and I might not be the best moment to start this topic again, but I've recently seen a lot of Belgian newbies (?) signing up for this forum, so why don't we ask again who is interested in meeting other fellow umbracians on a regular basis. I think we need at least 10 people or more before we start thinking about time/place/....

So, here goes the question again: Who's interested in participating in a user group and user group meetings here in Belgium?

Listing the names would make it easier to track I guess, so here goes the first name:

Dirk De Grave
(add your name to this list if interested)

Regards,
/Dirk

BTW I'd be interested in a Belgian/Dutch Umbraco website or forum as well.

Just adding a reply to refresh the thread here! Most Belgians *should* be at work now...

@Ruben, I think that should be possible to have a Belgian/Dutch website, can be discussed if we can find enough volunteers, right? Guess we'll find at least one to host that site. I'm running my own vps, be it at only 512 Mb RAM, so it might be good for a starter. Let's wait for others to leave a comment here.

@Ruben,

Strange only 4 people have replied in this thread :(
And don't make me more jealous than I'm only am. Can't make this year's CG.
Hoping you guys will bring back loads of info. You could then schedule a first UG meeting? :)

Have fun and keep us informed about the event!

Greetz,
/Dirk

Hi SimplyMath,

Would it be a problem to reveal you real name? No obligation of course, but would be nice though!

Yep, could be, but may be geographically a lot more difficult.

[Edit]I'm certainly not excluding you guys from participating in a user group, but you'll agree that it is much more easier to find a central place in Belgium to meet than it is in The Netherlands. But again, combined effort would also be great. Can you motivate some Dutch people? [/Edit]

/Dirk

Hi lads,

I met some of you at CG08, and would also be interested to join the Belgian/Dutch umbracoholics discussion group...

Cheers,
Mike
