Problem with search in the GUI Options

Hello all,

Search in the GUI gives the following error on Umbraco 3.0.5, WinXP SP2. Is there anything I need to setup to get this working?

Darren,

Looks like your internal index is missing. Have look in the install zip see if you have a copy there i think system reboot it should recreate one for you worse case just write a dash board control to re index for you need code like

umbraco.cms.businesslogic.Indexer.ReIndex();

I have dashboard controls project with controls to do this if you need it just msn me ill send it to you.

I'm getting the exact same error message in my logs. Did you solve the problem Darren?

Ismail sent me a usercontrol that rebuilt the index for me.
