Clean install: The page isn't redirecting properly Options

Hi, I've just installed v3.0.5 on a newly created subdomain. The install appeared to finish fine, but I'm getting the following message when browsing the empty site.

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.



I don't have cookies disabled, and I suspect the error will go away once content is published since it's the '/config/splashes/noNodes.aspx' url that the browser is being redirected to.

With IE7, the browser sure enough just spins its wheels and never loads or throws an error. I let it go for about 10 minutes before closing it.

I'm just posting this here to see if it's a known issue or if there's something weird going on that might bite me later.

I got this error in Umbraco 3.05 at wibeck.com last week and that site has been running for some years by now (and hasn't left alpha yet ;) ).

All I did was to republish the site and the error disappeared.

My guess on that was that something had happened with the memory on my virtual server...
