Umbraco content fields missing? But appear after disconnecting and reconnecting DB? Options

Hi

We have a website running Umbraco. We noticed that the fields on pages dissapeared in the back office even though the website appeared to be running fine, pulling in the correct (missing fields in the back office)

To remedy this we rolled back the database into another instance.

Connected to the instance - all missing fields were back.

Then reconnected to the original database, - all fields were back! - no data missing what so ever.

This was all completed within 5minutes.

Has anyone come across this or know what the problem is?

Was a permissions issue, exact same as here.
