Property Types Options

After installing Umbraco and the Creative Web Site package, I noticed that there several property types available when creating a new document type. For example, dropdown, date Picker, Label, etc.

are these controls inherit in a basic install or did they come with the Creative Web Site package. I'm a newbie trying to learn umbraco.

Hi boggyboy,

First of all: welcome to umbraco.

Answer to your question: umbraco comes with a bunch of data types already available. A list of available datatypes can be found in the 'Developer' section, under the 'Data Types' node.

It's even possible to create custom datatypes.

You see, umbraco is all about extensibility.
